National No Telemarketing Call List
All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. You will be charged call time for these calls. To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382- 1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked or go on line to register. You cannot call from a different phone number.

You can reduce the number of unwanted sales calls you get by signing up for the National Do Not Call Registry. It’s free. Visit donotcall.gov to register your number.
Most legitimate companies don't call if your number is on the Registry. If a company is ignoring the Registry, there’s a good chance that it’s a scam. If you get these calls, hang up and file a complaint with the FTC.
